BUSCA
BUSCA
Animal and Human Bestiary
From April 18-30, 2023, the second Details Project Residency was held, thanks to the Mirabilia Festival and the Performing Lands project.
Busca can refer to either the Celtic ”Buxilla,” or the Germanic ”Busch,” plural ”Busche,” or “Buschchen”-all names indicating a grove.
This, together with its Medieval origins, inspired the Details Mirabilia European Festival PerformingLands Creation residency.
A sort of Medieval Bestiary made of wild animals, fantastic animals, masks, fatuous fires, combined with characters who throughout history have been important to the life of this small town rich in history, traditions, legends… and magic!!!
Once again, meetings with local people were essential!
In particular we thank the many valuable insights from Marco Sarale and Gianni Giordan!
As well as the full availability of the local administration.
